1. It takes ages when I try and post something. What can I do?

3. I get an error when I try and open pagatronix.

Try clearing your cookies, and then log into pagatronix again. This walkthrough will show you how to delete any pagatronix cookies, rather than having to delete all of your cookies.

 

4. How can I add pictures to my post?

You'll need to upload them to an image hosting site. In common with most other BBs / forums, I'm afraid we don't have the space to host uploaded images at Pagatronix.
We recommend Tinypic for hosting your images. This walkthrough will show you how to upload an image and then post it.

Insert Media

Sound (mp3) and video (avi, mov) files can now all be uploaded or added to a post by using the Insert Media button in Pagatronix.

Once you've clicked the button, add the URL of the sound or video clip into the Media URL box, click the Insert button, and Pagatronix will work out the rest for you.

Note that for video clips, you may have to mess around with the width and height values (as shown above) so that the clip is rendered in the correct aspect ratio.

For example, the following clip http://wbads-02.vo.llnwd.net/e1/wbmovies/watchmen/video/WatchmenScreamALT_Large.mov needs to have the following ratio applied to render correctly:

Height: 280, Width: 640

Youtube Clips

There are two ways to insert Youtube clips into your post. By using the Insert Media button, and using direct html.

• Insert Media Button. Use the Insert Media button (see above) and paste the URL for your Youtube clip into the Media URL box.
  Note that Youtube appear to have recently changed the way they display URLs so you'll need to slightly
  amend your Youtube clip URL to enable it to display correctly in Pagatronix:
  
  For example, change this http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Cz2-ukrd2VQ to this http://uk.youtube.com/v/Cz2-ukrd2VQ
  
  The second version of the URL ending in /v/[clip id] will render correctly in Pagatronix:
  
  
  
  Note that Youtube clips may not be visible when composing or previewing your post, and may only display correctly once posted.
  
  
  
• Direct HTML. Paste the Youtube embed HTML code directly into Pagatronix. Use this walkthrough as an example.
